Description

The Brown Rabbit headdress is printed in navy blue on cedar brown felted wool and lined with brown and blue check cotton. Finished with baby blue satin ribbons to tie around the head, making it adjustable to fit all head sizes, including adults.

Immersive and enchanting as playful costumes, these charming creatures are just as beautiful hung on the wall to add a touch of whimsical charm to any room, and will become heirloom pieces long after the playing and dancing is done.

Materials and Techniques

Illustrated, hand printed and handmade in my waterside studio in Cornwall, working from an archive of textiles mindfully sourced from India, and surplus from theatre costume and fashion wardrobes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque headdresses, allowances must be made for slight discrepancies between each piece.

Size

This headdress is made in one size for both children and adults, with adjustable ribbons to fit all head shapes and sizes.

Measurements: 38cm by 15 cm. Ribbon length 50cm.
