Inspiration

I’ve been having loads of fun in the studio piecing together some of my favourite fabric off-cuts saved from past projects, collaborations and travels to create a limited edition collection of patchwork rabbits. 
 
These one-of-a-kind pieces are printed on an array of colourful linens and cottons and lined with mismatched floral block prints from India, striped cottons and silks from theatre wardrobes, and Humphries & Begg prints surplus from our collaboration.
 
Every piece is completely unique!

Description

Charcoal print on a soft baby blue cotton, lined with thoughtfully mismatched striped silk and the cotton H&B fish and chips print. Finished with sandy satin ribbons to tie around the head.

Immersive and enchanting as playful costumes, these special creatures are just as beautiful hung on the wall to add a touch of whimsical charm to any child’s bedroom, and will become heirloom pieces long after the playing is done.

Materials and Techniques

Illustrated, hand printed and handmade in my Cornwall studio, working from an archive of textiles mindfully sourced from India, or reclaimed from the costume and fashion industry, carefully chosen for their quality and ethos.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque headdresses, allowances must be made for slight discrepancies between each piece.

(OS) One size to fit both kids and adults.

Each headdress ties around your head with ribbons, making them adjustable to fit all head sizes.

Measurements: 36cm by 14cm. Ribbon length 50cm
