Inspired by classic children’s story books, this exclusive monochrome range celebrates the original pencil-to-paper illustrations from the Animalesque sketchbook. Printed in charcoal grey on natural organic cottons, these favourite woodland characters leap from the page and invite you to bring your own tales to life.

Description

The original Animalesque wolf illustration is screen-printed in charcoal grey and handmade with organic cotton and lined with carefully selected surplus materials from the fashion and costume industry. Finished with black cotton grosgrain ribbon.

Materials and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes, vintage silk saris, sari trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque creations, and the use of vintage and reclaimed materials, each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the product photograph. Please see description for accurate details.

This design is made in one size.

Each headdress ties around the head with ribbons, making them adjustable to fit all head shapes and sizes. Made for both kids and adults.
