Description

The Wedding Owl Headdress is hand-printed in charcoal grey on cream linen. Embellished with a segment of pink vintage sari trim from Jaipur with gold embroidery motif and lined with vintage sari silk. Adorned with natural pheasant feathers and finished with taupe satin ribbon.

This petite style sits elegantly on the front of your forehead like a crown, creating a beautiful owl profile from front and side view.

Materials and Techniques

Illustrated, hand printed and handmade in my Cornwall studio, working from an archive of textiles mindfully sourced from my travels, reclaimed from theatre wardrobes, and up-cycled from vintage garments.

Size

One size: The headdress ties around your head with satin ribbons, making it adjustable to fit all head sizes. Suitable for both kids and adults.

Measurements: 13cm by 12cm. Feather length: 15-17cm. Ribbon length 50cm
