Description

The wedding black swan is printed in charcoal grey on black satin, embellished with either gold sequins OR vintage Indian Sari trims of dark pinks and gold motifs, nestled into soft black feathers with a red silk beak. Lined with vintage sari silk and finished with gold rim black button eyes and black satin ribbon.

Materials and Techniques

Illustrated, hand printed and handmade in my Cornwall studio, working from an archive of textiles mindfully sourced from my travels, reclaimed from theatre wardrobes, and up-cycled from vintage garments.

Size

One size: The headdress ties around your head with satin ribbons, making it adjustable to fit all head sizes. 

Measurements: 35cm by 16cm. Ribbon length 50cm
