Inspired by the wild places of my childhood, I hope to capture the spirit of wilderness that will transport you and your family to the magical expanses of your imaginations.

Description

The Gold Bengal Tiger illustration is screen-printed in charcoal grey on a shiny gold viscose and lined with Indian block printed cotton. Finished with antique gold satin ribbons to tie around the head.

The tiger headdress is available in two sizes, large (L) and small (S). I generally suggest size (S) for kids, and size (L) for adults.

Materials and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes, vintage silk saris, sari trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque creations, and the use of vintage and reclaimed materials, each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the product photograph. Please see description for accurate details.
