Description

The original Animalesque Leopard illustration is printed in charcoal grey onto theatre surplus gold, lined with African wax print cottons and finished with antique gold satin ribbons.

Materials and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes, vintage silk saris, sari trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque creations, and the use of vintage and reclaimed materials, each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the product photograph. Please see description for accurate details.

This headdress style is available in one size and made to fit all, with adjustable ribbons to tie around the head.
