Inspired by the wild places of my childhood, I hope to capture the spirit of wilderness that will transport you and your family to the magical expanses of your imaginations.

Description

The leopard cub is hand printed on burnt ochre linen in charcoal grey, and lined with a range of gorgeous African wax print cottons. Finished with brown satin ribbons.

Fabrics and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes, vintage silk saris, sari trims, block prints and organic cottons mindfully sourced from India.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Due to the handmade nature of Animalesque creations, and the use of vintage and reclaimed materials, each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the product photograph. Please see description for accurate details.

Size

This headdress is made in one size with adjustable ribbons to fit all head shapes and sizes.

Measurements: 18cm by 15cm. Ribbon length 50cm.
