Inspired by the wild places of my childhood, I hope to capture the spirit of wilderness that will transport you and your family to the magical expanses of your imaginations.

Description

The Lion of Oz is hand printed on organic cream cotton in a dusty brown, and adorned with a vintage natural cream cotton fringe mane. Lined with a range of cottons - African wax print, Indian block print or ikat weave- and finished with gold satin ribbons.

Ready for an adventure down the yellow brick road

Fabrics and Techniques

Each piece is an original Animalesque illustration and design, screen-printed and handmade using a rich combination of textiles reclaimed from theatre and fashion wardrobes and mindfully sourced vintage silk saris and trims, block prints, wax prints and organic handloom cottons.

Handmade in Cornwall by textile artist Sara Lowes.

Size

This headdress is made in one size with adjustable ribbons to fit all head shapes and sizes.

Measurements: 20cm by 18cm. Ribbon length 50cm.
